STO has the option for straight pylons. Which looking closely, seem to be the same shape as the RetConnies neck. I wonder if they just modified that geometry to make them. Or at the very least based inspired by it

That's would appear to be period appropriate (based on nothing more than fan expectations, I guess), but I think I might like the curved in look a bit more, just because it's something different.

I honestly think I prefer the curved pylons. They give it a more unique look.

After Star Trek Lower Decks and Star Trek Prodigy it seems that we will get TOS nacelle pylons and neck on the USS Enteprise somethimes prior the end of SNW.

We saw it again in last LD episode

I noticed that. They definitely seem to want to keep that classic design in the forefront of our minds. Loved the retro TWOK graphics in that episode.

That doesn't mean squat. LDS art team just chose to use the TOS design instead of the DSC design.

Prodigy also used it (along side the USS Discovery), Picard used the DSC Design in Season 1, but the TOS design in Season 2.

It all depends on what the art decides to use. There doesn't seem to be anyone at Paramount enforcing a consistent art design.

And why did you just mention the pylons and neck? That is straight up the TOS enterprise up there, not the DSC one with swapped parts.

Eaves said there was supposed to be a refit between SNW and TOS. Whether we see it, or it's hinted at, or not, will only become clear when SNW is ending, probably, so it could take years

No he said he designed it with certain parts that could be hypothetically removed/changed for a refit. No one from the writers room told him there would ever be one.

Also Eaves doesn’t work on SNW. He was talking about Discovery season 1.
