Just got a chance to watch this and it was such a joy watching Pat Mills and Dave Gibbons just grinning at the sight of their creations coming to life. Even as someone hasn't read the original comic (but already familiar with the characters thanks to Big Finish), I really loved seeing them relishing this new reality. David fanboying about a comic he read as a kid was also delightful.
I also really enjoyed seeing how the Wrarths came to life, complete with the strange leg stilts the actors used, not unlike what Doug Jones wears when playing Saru.
Lastly, seeing Bernard Cribbins taking part in the script read makes me think that perhaps all of his scenes have been cut due to incompletion after all. I'm still holding onto hope we'll get to see him in the remaining specials, but it still sucks.

Still...that scene screamed Toymaker.
