Having a decade or so ago make a 3d model of the Luna Class Titan, and working with Sean for Input.
Was a very Nerd moment seeing it, Congrats to Sean!

Thanks

This is so awesome...

So, straight from the source, Titan Designer:

Did you feel the appearance portrayed the ship the way you intended? Not so much in terms of visual appearance, but in terms of behavior?

Were the phaser beams coming from the expected places? Was the pod supposed to have torpedo tubes? Was the area close to the Captain's Gig supposed to have q-torp capacity? Was Riker's upholstery the correct springiness?

The novels no doubt have given quite a bit of detail on behavior already, but I'm not all that familiar with them. So, I'm curious - which bits of the Titan managed to surprise you here?

Thanks. I have been away, and most likely might not be back here that often. I’m happy that my design made it into Cannon. Was surprised to say the least. You can follow my work at https://www.artstation.com/stourangeau
Have you noticed that whomever designed the model for your USS Titan on ST:LDS, they have the Inset Blue Dorsal Phaser Array, but they omit the Ventral set for some reason.

Also fix the centerline blinking lights to be white instead of red.

Can you pass the note to EP Mike McMahon to get that fixed before the start of S2?

Maybe have a fixed version of your USS Titan for S1 when it comes onto Blu-Ray?

During the TrekYards interview with Mike about the Cerritos, he said the saucer had a special feature that would be shown this season, but nothing happened. He was working on Season 2 when that interview was recorded, so maybe he just got confused and it's a Season 2 thing.

That would never happen. They don't go back and fix things, plus for all we know it was a purposeful change.

I was waiting for that as well

As for torpedoes.
In the top pod there is 2 forward facing and 1 rear.
Also a launcher under the deflector dish.

This is how Picard should have ended, with Riker and Troi in the Titan charging to the rescue. And with that music as well. Bravo Lower Decks, and what a lovely ship she is :)
Well apparently Admiral Clancy was meant to lead the fleet, so that probably explains it.

Frakes also said he was happy it wasn't the Titan. I wonder if that's because he already knew the ending of Lower Decks.

Wait, wut? Was this stated somewhere by the showrunners? NOT having Riker be the one charging to Picard's rescue would have been an absolutely awful decision. I was much happier with the "Am I supposed to stay in the forest making pizzas?" line, as opposed to the one-dimensional "Fucking Picard Fuckity-fuck-fuck!" we'd have gotten from Clancy.
