News The Return of 90s Television: Murphy Brown is coming back, too. What show will return next?

I guess since he couldn't get Home Improvement back, he went with the next best thing. I never watched it myself.

It wasn't good. It wasn't horrible, it just was.... ehhh.

And I think he rather have Last Man Standing back so the little snowflake that he is and his fucktard followers feel vindicated, even though they weren't canceled for his view points on Trump.

Our first look at the new Murphy Brown.

Yup, I'm stoked!

I wonder who will replace Frank I think was his name. the older co-host who I know the actor has died. Also who will play Murphy's Brown child, all grown up.

They already announced the son will be played by Jake McDorman from Greek and Limitless TV series.

Well, Superior Donuts was just canceled so Katey Segal is available. She would be the main draw for me even though I didn't care for Married...with Children.

More like it, CBS! I almost forgive you for that travesty you released last week, claiming to be Magnum P.I.

I hope Charles Kimbrough is able to make an appearance or two, Jim was always a favorite character of mine.

That's one of the shows Fox Network reportedly wants back, but it won't be because Fox Studios will be bye-bye soon.

The last I'd read, there was an attempt to do a revival special episode or something but the creators didn't give their blessings so it fell through.

But Disney isn't FOX so I doubt it will have different shows catering to different audiences. There's a funky irony.

I love this.

There’s so much excitement surrounding the return of Murphy Brown. How does that feel? It's just weird. Obviously, Diane English and I are thrilled. There's just a great buzz about it, and we're just going to make the best Murphy that we can. We've been given so much by this administration, so we don't want to squander it.

In its first incarnation, the show didn’t shy away from controversial topics, like abortion. Can we expect that no-holds-barred approach this time around? We plan on shrinking from nothing.

"Perfect Strangers" should come back.

So should "Family Matters."

And how about another "Kung Fu" revival for the 2010s-2020s?

Before the Fuller House creator was fired they were planning on having Steve Urkel on it for several episodes. Not sure if that's still the plan because the creator / showrunner was fired.

King of the Hill espoused conservative viewpoints for over a decade and never got canceled.

You know why? Right, Mike Judge isn't a racist asshole!

Having Steve Urkel on Fuller House is a rather obvious idea, I doubt they'd totally throw away the idea because one guy got fired.

Why not just bring back "Family Matters?" I mean I wouldn't watch it like I don't watch "Fuller House" but some people like these family friendly 90's comfort food shows. I already have my 90's style comfort food show in "Orville" and I am fine with, just the one at the moment.

I just read an article last night saying how quickly people are watching 90s shows on Hulu, so maybe they will. Or maybe they can't get the cast back together and one character is easier.

Maybe they can try making a 90s-style show that's episodic instead of yet another serial.
