Yeah I've just been re-reading Garth Ennis' Punisher run and it's basically slapstick comedy with a dapple of drama in it. It's pretty funny stuff!

I say give the part back to Thomas Jane. His film may not have been the most faithful adaptation but his performance was as close to Frank Castle as anyone's gotten. Just have a look (or listen) at what he did for the PS2 Punisher game.
