An isolinear chip that accidentally gets added to the vessel's main systems because a technician dumps an isolinear chip belonging to his room-mate into his carry-all, right along with his usual gear.

The technician's running-late & in a rush to report to his C.O. on-time. The room-mate realizes the chip is missing as the room-mate has time booked on the holodeck & mishaps ensue along the way.

Salma's character screws with the ship's internal systems like Professor Moriarty did, & refuses to let them shunt her back onto the isolinear chip she came from (or outright delete her.)
