I'll tell you what does disappoint me a bit about the book:

The illustration layout is that usually there's a small - often very small - reproduction of a piece of design artwork or sketch - uniforms, sets, etc - juxtaposed with very large photographs of the actors and sets.

Well you know, I can find photos from the show all over the Internet. My main interest in the book was the art.

There's already a minor dispute on FB about something labeled a "fighter" being so large relative to an "explorer."

It does seem like "Exploration A" is more of a multi-mission type of ship, akin to the TOS Enterprise, than a pure exploration vessel.

It's funny, Frakes' comment about an "old shoe". The thing looks kinda like a shoe in that top view.

Bit late but Master Replicas released the Kaylon Interceptor ship model!
It appears fragile so I'm storing it in its box until I figure out what to do with it. It's like a Mad Mad-style Borg sphere.
