Co-starring Neelix as "Chef".
But it has to air on Valentine's Day, so it can be considered a "gift" to us.
Fox Network's PR page for The Orville. Any news about renewal/cancellation is likely to show up here:
Certainly by the 13th.
No, the show became popular in the 24th century just based on how much it guessed right.
I'm about halfway through The World of The Orville, and it's been really interesting so far, definitely highly recommended for anybody who wants to learn more about the show.
I doubt it; Sage seems a lot more talented than Denise Crosby, whose career never took off after leaving TNG (and who came back with her tail between her legs, so to speak, wanting to be cast as anybody, which is why she appeared as Sela later on.)
Hopefully we will have an Orville season 3 thread soon.
The Chad Coleman thing is a week or so old; the actors are generally the last to know anything for a fact.
Fox Picks Up 4 New Drama Series: ‘Prodigal Son’, ‘Deputy’, ‘NeXt’ & Weisman/Katims; What Does It Mean For Network’s Bubble Dramas?
It's interesting that Deadline lists three dramas as being on the bubble and doesn't include The Orville.
That said, I expect we'll get a cancellation tomorrow.
It in itself means nothing. Orville is a 13 (or so) episode series. It can be fit into the schedule with all these new shows, at the end of the season(s), between arcs, etc....
Yeah I just saw that........not GOOD news.....but will wait and see......
Somehow, I think we might be seeing something like this in a couple years if "The Orville" doesn't get renewed:
I have a feeling Orville is going to be treated as a “Wait to see what fails” show.
The Passage just got the axe.
And The Cool Kids.....
True, they could renew for Orville Season 3 as/in a 'mid season replacement' capacity with another 13 episodes
Fox just cancelled The Cool Kids, which was widely considered more likely to be renewed than The Orville.
Damn, I like The Cool Kids.
But if it came down to it, and The Orville I would definitely go for The Orville.
