Don't know; I'm watching it on broadcast at 9:00 PM on Thursdays and then again over the weekend on Hulu.

So, realistically, I should be able to watch it Friday morning. Or invest into a tv and all that old timey set up, lol.

I wonder if this will be the first time we get a rough sense of how many light-years the Orville can cover in X amount of time.

Enjoyable so far. Good, slower.stuff but interesting character interaction, depth and exploration in Dr. Sherry Palmer as well as Isaac. Knew the younger kid would get sick from falling into the creek.

We're told in Pria that the ship can make 10 LY/hr.
Hm ... so if the Orville were in Voyager, it'd get back from the Delta Quadrant in about nine months, and in real terms it could cross the maximum diameter of the galaxy in about two years.

Yep, Starfleet ships, at their fastest could make 3 LY per day likely with strain on engine's and couldn't be maintained overly long. Granted we do know how long the Orville can go this speed without needing to rest the engine's..

I like this episode. It's the first time Orville has felt emotionally real, and the first time the show has allowed itself to have serious moments without comedy interjections. If Orville can continue in that trajectory it will continue to improve.

Hm ... some nice character bits in that episode, and it was fun to see Isaac develop another dimension to his personality.

But apart from that, it was kind of a blah episode, plotwise.

I'm so torn on this episode.

On one hand the plot was way too straightforward action and on the nose for my liking. The seemingly cannibalistic zombie-like infected people were actually probably zombie cannibals. Claire's murder of the guy who was holding her captive also seemed off to me, given we never found out his true intentions, or what was actually going on.

On the other hand, that was some amazing character development of Claire and Isaac. Probably better than anything Trek did outside of DS9.

Edit: Humor quotient continues to fall. This episode had no more humor than an average Trek episode, though some of it was off color.
