Oh, no! Not light years from the Orville! It might take then ten seconds instead of five to get there!
Much like "The Galileo Seven", it probably isn't the distance so much as that is a huge chunk of space to have to search.
I am beginning to feel a little worried about the fact that The Orville was not renewed yet by Fox.

Renewal announcements for network shows usually don't come until Spring.

Why not. The season is about half over anyway.
The preview doesn't look that exciting, but who knows what they have in store? They've done a great job so far. And we'll get a story that focuses on the Doc and Isaac, which ought to be interesting.

He needs to be the one who keeps getting in the way of whatever important task the Orville crew is involved in that prevents them from mounting an immediate rescue to nag Ed into mounting an immediate rescue.
