It didn't help that Mulgrew and Jennifer Lien were good friends, and Lien had been sacked to make room for Ryan. Again, no excuse; it should not have happened.
Kes had a LOT more to do, but Berman and Braga wanted a “Borg babe” (Braga’s own words). Wang should have been fired as was the original idea.

Quite likely. He was not in "FAIR TRADE" either. They were produced back to back... "FAIR TRADE" first, then "BLOOD FEVER".

There's a couple scenes in both that look like some dialogue was meant for Kim.

Since I didn’t even realize he was missing from “FT”, that shows how little I cared for Kim.

I noticed that Jennifer Lien’s Kes was the first to disappear in “Displaced”, yet Kes just (literally) stood in the background.

I wanted to like Voyager, but the character interactions were so frustrating at times. As if there was a natural arc, but it was resisted, or outright sabotaged, by the writers or cast members. Too bad.

One of the elements of Enterprise that I really loved was the character interactions. The overall arc for Archer and T'Pol's partnership, Archer and Shran, Soval and Archer. Trip and T'Pol's relationship arc, as I've said before, had great potential to mirror the evolving relations between Earth and Vulcan...but it got kinda jammed under the carpet in Season 4. I would have continued that...as well as followed up on intriguing dangling plot threads - Illyrians, E2 crew, North Star settlement, Archer and Soval's new alliance.
