The Night Crew

Reduced Hamlet? Is that like the "Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged" group?

Or is it reduced like soup?

It's reduced like the writing of the new Knight Rider remake (Insert drum set rimshot here).
Wait a minute, wait a minute. So you're making fun of the new Knight Rider...which means you've watched the new Knight Rider...and liked it less than the old Knight Rider...which means you've watched the old Knight Rider...and enjoyed it? Is that what's going on here?

Yeah, it's like how basically anyone who saw old Star Wars liked it better than new Star Wars.

Yeah, except old Star Wars was good.

 yeah, thats probably the best part. Our grade 12 english teacher got us to watch the entire dvd in class.

Oh yeah definitely. It's hard to get kids into shakespeare, or at least most of them, and movies like Ten Things I Hate About You as well as groups like the RSC do a really good job of shedding a different light on shakespeare and giving it a modernized spin on it that if anything grabs their attention.

Everyone, fear not! I am here!

I am also DRUNK!

I didn't mean to get drunk, for I am the DESIGNATED DRIVER!

My friend texted me from a bar while I was at work saying that his ex-girlfriend was there and that he was probably going to get very drunk to compensate. He also told me he needed me to drive him home.

I decided to get him drunker to help cope with his ex-girlfriend's presence, but I can't have him doing shots by himself, so I did them too.

^ Thats ok I wont have a highschool reunion. I went to independent study my Jr and Sr years so we didnt have a class trip or anything.
Oh, we didn't have a class trip either -- at least I don't think so, I was pretty out of the loop.
I didn't go on my senior trip either. My first wife went on it though (as a chaperone), she said I didn't miss much. Of course she ended up getting sick while there, so it wasn't like she participated much.

We didn't have an official senior trip at my high school, however our Astronomy teacher did take us to Florida to see a shuttle launch. When it was postponed, we ended up going all over Cape Canaveral, saw the VAB and other NASA related locations and landmarks. Quite a good time.

As for our high school reunion, this past June was the tenth anniversary of our graduation and I haven't heard one word about it, though I don't know that I'd have gone anyway. Airfare is still expensive as hell and I'm pretty much in contact with everyone I would care to be via Facebook, Myspace, email, IM, and LinkedIn.

So I went out with my pal Jack for some margaritas at our gang's favorite Mexican place today... and I don't know what it was, but holy shit those things just obliterated me. TVs Frank and TPols Ass joined us later on for dinner there and I had a very nice meal (carnitas, best thing on the menu there).

Anywho, I came home and pretty much fell asleep right away. Except for belly rumblings, which are always fun... and I woke up at quarter to 3 and have been up ever since. BLARGH.

I'd hate to think of what would have happened if we had gone to see a shuttle launch my senior year... which was the year of the Challenger accident. :( It was bad enough that everyone was watching it in school that day.

Eh. It isnt the class i am worried about. My only problem with this one is whether or not ill be able to function. I do have 8am classes but i am normally not 'awake' till 9

Do you know why I go to the expensive health food stores like Whole Foods, Khim's Millennium Mart, and Brooklyn Natural and spend $5.50 on the Cascade Farms Organic multi grain squares breakfast cereal? Because when I go to the bodega around the corner and spend $2.99 on a box of generic frosted mini wheats, and bring it home, and pour it in a bowl, and pour a half a cup of soy milk on top, and get ready to a take a nice big bite, I find out that it's full of BUGS! EW!
I almost threw up! Oh, it was so gross. Now, I know that they eat bugs in the jungle and all, but I live in a city, and I have delicate sensibilities, and I eat out of bowls with flowers painted on them, and I don't want BUGS in my cereal!
