The Night Crew

Odd. I've had experiences like that meeting people from high school years later. I can remember running into people on the street and being surprised that they were so excited to see me. It's like, well I wish you'd been that way then. :o

On a related note, I still have no idea how 005 found me on facebook!

I'd at least understand it if we were facebook friends. I have a lot of random high school facebook friends that I never talk to. But this kid...we aren't facebook friends, therefore he can't see my profile, therefore he can't find out what my screenname is...unless he specifically asked someone else what it was.

One of the reasons I discontinued my facebook account was random high school classmates trying to contact me. It seems that for some people, as soon as graduation concludes all the barriers break down and it becomes only about "we went to school together," and stuff like, "Yeah, but you made fun of me for dressing like a punk," or "I always thought you were an ass," no longer matter.

Sounds like you got yourself a stalker. I'm the only one supposed to stalk you!

Yeah, that's the thing. It's not entirely odd that he'd talk to you. What's odd is that he obviously had to make some sort of effort to do so.

It's because once they've gotten out of that high school world, they can look back on it with a little perspective and be like, "hey, you know what? that strangequark girl was pretty cool".

I was generally liked by everyone. And I generally liked them back. I wasn't overly popular, and I wasn't a big loser. I was just a guy who got along with everybody.

^ Yeah, me too. Of course, I went to a high school full of other people like me, so once I got over my own crap, that was kind of natural.

Sounds like you got yourself a stalker. I'm the only one supposed to stalk you!

Shhh! It defeats the purpose if you tell him!

I had few friends, no enemies, hardly a grasp on reality and nobody ever bothers me unless they're trying to sell me new windows.

I'm not too sure. I think that may be the case with some people, but I just can't give enough credit to some of my old classmates.

That's cool. I was the weird girl. :)

It's them, rater than you. Their social lives suddenly dropped. Out of school anybody you've known is a "friend".

^ That's a good point.

If you want to, but I'm guessing I'm more right than wrong. It's also possible that some of them just weren't aware in retrospect that they were being cruel. Which actually would make them look worse.

At my school, we were all the weird girls. Er, guys. No, actually girls is probably more apt.
