i finally watched a programme i videoed THREE years ago, yesterday...

Space Race a BBC programme about (duh) the space race; concentrating on Werner Von Braun on the US side and Sergei Korolev on the Soviet's.

it was 4 1-hour programmes and i kept meaning to watch it and putting it off or forgetting. i finally watched it because i've only got 3 videos for taping stuff i don't intend to keep and that was on one, another I'm using for Sarah-Jane Adventures and i need 2 today for the A1 GP and for the Fringe pilot tonight on Sky 1...

I may have just seen that one! Sometimes they air BBC docs on PBS over here, and just the other night there was one on the space race that was pretty decent. I watched only the first part, in which they discussed Von Braun's surrendering to the US because they'd let him "go to mars."

Hey, if you're looking for something to do, you can help me save Rose in the Doctor Who companion hurt/heal game. The poor girl's taking a thrashing and I don't know if I can bear it.
