It's funny, I find weightlifting dreadfully boring and running fun. I think it's because when you run there are things to look at, and because you're getting somewhere.I'm in good shape. I go to the gym about 5 days a week, but I prefer bodybuilding/weightlifting.
Cardio is boring.
More than there is to see at a gym, though. I guess another thing is that I like to be outside.Well, if I ever run outside, my destination is usually right back where I started, so I don't really think of myself as "getting somewhere." And looking at things...there's just not much around here to see.

I've seen people do that. I prefer yoga for strength training, though. And honestly the last thing I need is more muscle mass -- I can't fit into normal boots, not because I have fat legs, but because the muscles on my calves are so large! My mom's the same way. She was hospitalized for anorexia once, and even then, when she was 20 lbs underweight, her calf muscles were so large she had to buy boots from a special store. It's funny, I find weightlifting dreadfully boring and running fun.
