The Night Crew

I'm heading down to Boston in a couple hours, hopefully to see the Red Sox play the Yankees (my first time seeing them play one another live) in the last game of the regular season. But with that dumbass Hurricane Kyle throwing rain at the New England coast, I might be screwed. Oh well, tickets are already bought and paid for.

^ I'm guessing you're the one who tagged the thread "yankees suck"? ;)

Have fun, hopefully. :techman:

Looks like we're the only ones awake tonight.

Oh, I was awake tonight. In fact, I still am awake, having just gotten home at 7:30 in the morning. I was out all night at this...well, that'll be a story for another time. I'm too tired to write anything out. Now I'm trying to decide whether to stay up all night or deprive myself of daylight once again. :(

My bed looks so comfortable right now, though. :luvlove:

Talking of night... why don't we have a Saturday night thread any mores where we can all talk about our evenings out???

Or is that a bit too [whispers]chat roomy[/whispers] ;)

It is 6.54 am here, and I have been up since 6am. I don't like early mornings one bit. I have yet to find any redeeming qualities in them.
I agree in general, but there are a few exceptions. For example, stumbling home exhausted after a great dance, still in one's going out clothes, at 5 on a Monday, morning as others are beginning their morning commute, and knowing that I'm not one of them -- well, that's great!

Perhaps I should have clarified: I don't like early mornings when I'm being woken up by my alarm etc. They are awesome when you've been up partying/drinking all night.

I suppose it's a bit early for the night crew. Hungover is what I am. Last night was my roommate's 26th birthday, and we celebrated with a wine and cheese and cookie party. It was an elegant event; everyone was really well dressed. It devolved into an unelegant event with the aid of a few illicit substances, a couple of yuppies vomiting in our bathroom, singing and dancing loudly to David Bowie, and a very interesting game war of Set, Scrabble, and Bananagrams.

I'm here. I'm bored. I need some more movies or TV shows on DVD. Right now I'm watching Farscape's "Constellation of Doubt," probably for the 15th time ever.

Eh...I don't really read anymore. I mean to, but I don't. I lose interest in books very quickly.

Plus it's too hard for me to eat and be online while reading.
