The Night Crew

Sweet tea can't sit for more than 5 hours or it turns, and i had to ask the guy if he was screwing with me and GAVE me sweet tea(ther was a hassle with my ID) instead of booze, he said give me a second and damned if i wasn't buzzed

My ex-roommate's father was a manager at a college cafeteria, so he was able to acquire one of those giant smoothie machines. We would put rum and various flavors of Crystal Light or Kool-Aid in it, and it would taste just like juice. People were always convinced that we were screwing them over, and after their 2nd or 3rd cup, they would be smashed.

We had a motto: "Don't doubt the Juicer. It will know."

One of my friends doubted the juicer, and he spent the evening army crawling through the bushes...

whatever you do, DON'T do watermelon vodka shots for 5 hours and then try to play Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, you will think your gamecube is a TARDIS

i don't know, all i remember was burping Smirnoff's watermelon flavoring for a week and i needed a new gamecube

Ew...

My first college roommate and I used to buy a handle of Smirnoff Raspberry vodka and just takes pulls straight from the bottle. We would finish a handle in one night.

I can't do flavored vodka anymore.

I think there must have been some sort of insect or spider in my bed last night. My left ankle is covered in bug bites. And they are itchy!

Very sad news. One of the kittens died. My mother said it was one of the twins (2 of the kittens came out in the same sack connected to the same placenta). She and my grandmother think there was something wrong with her digestive system, as her tummy was terribly bloated. My poor mom is very upset. :(

Aw, very sad. Unfortunately, it isn't too uncommon for some of the babies to die in large litters.

Yeah. It's hard for my mom, though; we've never lost a kitten before, even in a litter of six. Nana (the mother) is a pygmy, though, so I was concerned when my mom said there were four -- it's an awful lot for such a small cat to carry.
She wasn't even supposed to get pregnant. When my mother initially took her to the vet he told her not to worry about spaying/neutering because hermaphrodites are almost always sterile. Then she surprised us! She had three kittens 6 months ago and my mom planned to bring her in for spaying as soon as she was done nursing and had had some time to recover. Mom kept her in the house but she slipped out one time -- and one time only. But once is enough! My mom realized she was pregnant again the very week of her vet appointment.

It's 4.36pm here ... currently listening to the impossible music festival on the radio. I would love to get a copy of that performance that Radiohead did at Glastonbury in 1997.
