People still watch tv shows on tv?

Not me anymore ... well only for the Australian based shows, and at the moment there aren't any worth watching. Only Underbelly was, but that finished several months ago. I get Heroes & Dr Who by other means.

My preferred viewing order:

DVD
DVR (my friend's TiVo, because I don't have my own)
Regular TV broadcast
Online

I actually hate watching TV and movies on my computer and avoid it whenever possible.

That's why I have my computer hooked up to my tv and sound system. It essentially fulfills the same function as a DVR. Our couch is a pull-out, too, so when my roommates and I watch stuff we all spread out on that and the other couch. Doesn't that just such sound so wrong yet so awesome?

Well, I like to be able to use my computer while I watch TV, so it would be really annoying for me to have them hooked up to each other.

When my best friend and I lived together in our first place, we had two futons that we sprawled out on all the time.

We both wish we lived together again because since we moved into our own places, I bought a new flatscreen HDTV and a PS3, and he bought a universal DVD player and a TiVo. We want all of them to be friends.

We both want to leave the Midwest once our leases are up in June. Neither of us have any real life plans, so we might end up moving together. It's good to have a heterosexual life partner.

Indeed, though I define my best friend as more of a brother. And I mean that to it's fullest symbolic definition. He's been pissy with me all week because we get into sibling rivalry and he's been jealous of me. But, as brothers, we banged and it out and had a great talk.

EDIT: Ooh, I just got my new health card in the mail. What a goofy picture. In the old one I looked like a dirty street urchin, but in this one I'm smiling like a silly goon.
