So I want to know why the hell I bought a bottle of cheap bourbon. I don't even like cheap bourbon. I want to try some decent stuff, but every time I see something I know is regarded as quality like Knob Creek, I don't have the disposable income.

It's starting to have an effect. Turns out the more you drink it, the better it tastes. Man, I'm not used to mixing my drinks anymore. You drink straight out of bottles for a little while and you get used to it...

Yeah, I'm getting closer and closer. And I like my drinks stronger and stronger. I just don't have a taste for whiskey, scotch, or bourbon. That might change, but I've never really given them a decent shot.

I kind of want to start drinking Old Fashioneds.

Old fashioneds are fried gold really. Taste delicious, and the name is pretty suave. Any time you can be a little suave while drunk is a plus.

I've never even had one before, but I'm a bartender, and my guests have always complimented me on the Old Fashioneds that I make. One of these days I'm going to need to actually taste what I'm making.

Yeah, it's usually a good idea to know what you're making tastes like. :P I've always wanted to tend bar for a while. I think I'd enjoy it, if I didn't drink all my wages away on my off hours.
