does his hat ALSO double as a beer dispenser?
He's one of the biggest tools I've ever met.
Damn straight. Looking forward to getting that box set.
I couldn't recall anything, but at times there have been so many weird and wonderful things that have happened here.
so i take it your into him?
Well one time when I wasn't looking my opponent blindsided me by using his knight to take my queen. I had a mild concussion and a torn ACL after that. So maybe long-forgotten TrekBBS poster was onto something.
Is that me?
Season 4 is awesome, eh? Good to hear. But I refuse to pay $80 for one season of television. I got Seasons 1-3 for a dollar. I do have another friend in China this year, so if Season 4 comes out there, I'll have him pick it up for me too.
That's cool, each to his or her own. I'm just explaining why I like them.
On the other hand, the games industry is just as capable of churning out complete rubbish as any other medium. Though, quite often, it's the games based on movies and TV shows that turn out the worst, KoTOR being a notable exception.
theres one particular truck raceing game out there for the Ps2 that was obviously incomplete, your truck is the only one that moves, theres no damage collision, go off the road and you fall into eternity, and if you do a lap, the game freezes
Nothing quite tops this - and it's a movie tie-in too!
The E.T. cartridges were actually buried in a landfill in Iraq. But with all the polluting seeping into the ground there, these cartridges actually mutated over time and had become self-aware and even more dangerous than nuclear bombs. That's why the US went in to Iraq, to retrieve them. But no one would buy the "Atari games of mass destruction" reason.
Anyways I'm gonna have some dinner and watch some bad TV. The eye candy is very good.
well, atleast E.T. was completed, and it made great fodder for the G4 series, codemonkeys
actually they were buried in white sands new mexico, every so often albuqurque sends in the marines to fight off a wave of radioactive zombie cartridges, it was Ghostbusters for the NES we sent to iraq, you have no idea what a pack of those things all hopped up on opium can do
If we're talking about NES games, what the hell was up with 3-D World Runner?
^didn't you get the 3-d glasses that came with it?
3-D did nothing to add to the experience, much like Rad Racer. World Runner was a game where you rammed your face into a pillar at full speed to get an item.
and invincibility lasted like 1.8 seconds, and unlike super mario, the mushrooms from the green pipes hurt you, yeah i remember that game well
My cousin had an Atari and I guess I was too young to really understand video games, but was Adventure the first game that was bigger than just the one screen?
no, but it IS the first game to ever have an Easter Egg
[Nute Gunray]My Lord, is that...legal?[/Nute Gunray]
But yes, it is awesome. Well, except for "The Doctor's Daughter." That one can fall in a black hole, IMHO.
Now, on to policy items. I motion to add "Official Night Crew Member" to the sigs or locations of everyone involved with this thread. If motion passes, we should also consider the possibility of officers, executives, etc. Maybe missionaries. You know, convert the masses. If we have time.
