The Next Voyager Novel

^ Better be a Titan novel.

I'd rather it be DS9!

I have a theory, admittedly one without much evidence, that DRG's books are going to have a lot more to do with DS9 than they've let on so far. Mack's TNG trilogy is a lot of TNG, Titan and Voyager are far away, and what other areas of focus do we have in the 24th century? The extremely scattered DS9 crew, which is now in like 5 different places, a fantastic setup to have a giant, wide-ranging duology about the effect of the Typhon Pact on everything.

Sweet! I haven't gotten to Children of the Storm, but I loved Full Circle and Unworthy, so I'm really looking forward to more Voyager goodness.
As for DRGIII's books, he did post on his facebook page that it will involve DS9 characters, Cardassians, and the Gamma Quadrant, among other things.

Congratulations!

It's gratifying to know that the Voyager Relaunch will continue to be in good hands through 2012. :)

I believe that DRG said that he was dealing with the Cardassians and where they stand with the Typhon Pact and Chris Bennet's novella in it's 20-page spoiler makes a nod to current relations between the Cardassians and the Pact.

Cardassians are DS9 characters in the main so I'd bet the duology is DS9-centric.

Congrats Kirsten! I've enjoyed the three previous VOY novels so I'm looking forward to this.

Congrats Kristen! I'm sure any of us who have read your other Voyager books can't wait to see where you will be taking us next. :)

I'm excited. Beyer does better with Voyager than Jeri Taylor did in my book. I'm in deep anticipation.

Hopefully Mark Rademaker will have a refit Voyager by then to grace the cover.

Fantastic news!! The first three Voyager books by Kirsten were great, so can't wait for more!

This is great news! Voyager is my favorite series right now due to your previous novels. I'm eagerly anticipating more DQ!

To bad the old Voyager is basically all that was on the covers of the previous 3 books. It will be weird/confusing to suddenly have it change.

I check out Mark's blog just about every day to see if there any updates on refitted Voyager. :D

Why would Voyager look any different ? I am sure it was mentioned that it was returned to 'stock' with all of the Delta Quadrant modifications removed after its return to Earth.

Would fitting slipstream drive make any real changes to how it looks ?

TY for the announcement - I love the level of involvement the Star Trek authors have on this site (well maybe except for Christopher - chuckle) and it is very neat to know that you are hard at work again Kirsten!
