Terry said the Luna Titan wasn't destroyed just it had been through so much shit it was retired. Could be the same with the Ent-E.
So, in other words, a completely contrived reason why there’s a new Titan that looks anachronistic.

I also think they might have known at the time that the Galaxy-class Project was coming along and thought maybe that was a better way to honour the ship.
Agreed.
The Galaxy class could have already been on the books in 2344 when the Ent-C was destroyed. So, in addition to honoring the sacrifice of the C's crew (by retiring the name Enterprise for a suitable period of mourning), Starfleet could also have waited until the Galaxy was rolling off the production line. That would have been a worthy class to carry the name Enterprise.
Not a scale chart, I just wanted to compare the two designs. The actual model used in the show isn't out yet, won't be out until Season 3 releases, so all I've got right now is the current game model

I disagree, there's as much difference between the C and DThanks for posting these. They only reinforce my opinion that the F looks too much like the E, unlike every other Enterprise which looks very different from its previous incarnation.

Now the deflector looks like the all seeing eye.
and no one is going to confuse the Odyssey and Sovereign, there's too many differences. You can see them in those images.
Heh that's funny, Thomas posted those images above in response to someone with the same argument as you.

He even said what I said about the C and D.
Oops it was a response to a responseWell, that Norsehound guy is right. And I'm not seeing any response from Marrone.
I had the exact same thought, including C and D, before I saw your responseand no one is going to confuse the Odyssey and Sovereign, there's too many differences. You can see them in those images.
