I saved this one in another poll recently and the reasons are the same - the story builds upon the unique setup accorded in "I, Borg" and gives a chilling twist. Incidental music is kept minimal, and - more often than not - when it's used it's generally decent, or letting the plot and acting do the work of keeping the viewer engaged. A great cast sweetens the pot, and despite the threat of small universe syndrome, Lore doesn't feel out of place as a coordinator: There's something potentially great about this setup, as Lore was always shown to be psychotic. So when coupled with this new splinter of the Borg who are clearly psychotic as well, what sort of payoff will occur in part two with Androidman and Datawonder? Tune in next season, same batbleep time and same batbleep channel.
