I think Spirit Folk is the nadir of bad Trek with badly outdates Irish sterotypes, but it's cutting very fine hairs between Aquiel, Spirit Folk and Profit and Lace. They all stink up the place.

I would have saved "Spirit Folk" for the scene where Harry's date gets turned into a cow. Perils of dating a hologram, I guess.
Profit and Lace insults women, insults women's suffrage, and set in motion the destruction of the unique Ferengi culture that Trek created. It deserves whatever we throw at it. So while I slept through the end of the contest, I am pleased with the results.
Maybe we should do a "Bottom 50 Episodes on IMDB", or some other universally regarded rating site. See what excuses people make for saving the worst of the worst.

My only real gripe with that one is that watching a glass of water try to ferment itself on a countertop is more exciting than watching "Aquiel"... that, and Geordi is peeping through personal personnel files again, though at least this time it feels less (unintentionally) creepy and somehow more natural-flowing with the story, or need to actually do it. Dare I watch this one again?

Fair enough, I would not describe it as an exciting episode! I think the shapeshifting alien is a cool idea (and yes DS9 did it first). Geordi was way less creepy in this one than in "Galaxy's Child" and I think he should have asked Aquiel out after being honest about reading her diary and offering to let her read his diary if she wants to. Geordi was surprisingly terrible with women given that he got on really well with Dr Crusher, Deanna and Guinan. Also the dog is cute.
Actually, "The Dauphin" did shapeshifting first with Anya.

I am now reminded of an Adult Swim game called Dungeons and Dungeons... hilarious game, and fun.
(You play as a dominatrix who has her slave near her, helping her with gadgets. Your goal is to travel through dungeons, using whips, dildos, vibrator bombs, and other stuff to defeat enemies. Even Barclay got some action, though she was using him for Pathfinder Project information. And Commander Harkins set him up with someone... a sister or friend, I don't recall.
That is a truly awful batch of episodes. DS9 S6 is the best Trek season IMO, but it had some absolute stinkers.
That would be skewed by some pretty heavy review-bombing of DSC & PIC. According to IMDb, almost all of DSC S4 is worse than any of those.
Maybe get a consensus on the board here. The bottom 5 of each season of every show, for instance. That's probably a decent barometer.
Perhaps the bottom 2 of each season... still a pretty good barometer.
I can't even separate most of them because of the intensely serialized nature. Especially PICARD season 2. I can honestly only remember the first two episodes and the last two episodes. The rest blur together too much to differentiate. DISCOVERY has pretty much the same problem every season. It's primarily why I've only seen each episode, at most, twice. For both shows. For me, that's a barometer for how much I like a show... the urge to rewatch. SNW is, frankly, the only live action current show I have felt the urge to rewatch. And I already have.
I got curious what a 'worst episode list' would look like, so I made one. That's the worst 10% of each series (including the movie series) according to IMDb voters. Though there's one exception: for Discovery's list I used Trek BBS's votes instead because of s4 getting review bombed. Also Enterprise has 11% because A Night in Sickbay was right on the line and I couldn't bear to leave it out. Don't ask me why Voyager's Twisted isn't on it, I'm not the internet, it's not my fault!
