Game The Most Disliked Second Season Episode

I have gotten so into "Shades Of Gray" in recent years. I've been stealth reintroducing it to all the Trek fans I know in real life. We try to think of an episode to rewatch that we haven't already watched to death. I say "oh, I'm just going to start this one, I'm sure you're not going to remember it..." Then they are watching it and saying "I DON'T remember it! What episode is this?" Then they're shocked it's the clip show, and doubly shocked that, decades down the line, it's fun to watch the clip show. Then they thank me for tricking them into watching it.

"Shades Of Gray"... it's actually super satisfying, in a TikTok world. And it's fun to be reminded of an era of TV when clip shows were normal & expected. It's a layered experience!

"An Embarrassment Of Dooplers" is a hoot! I love the solution to the duplicating problem, I love all the Easter eggs (little and big), I love Freeman's impassioned speech defending her ship and crew -- and that it failed! And I especially love the conclusion, with the senior officers drinking with Mariner and Boimler, and the Doopler ambassador dropped into the snooty Starfleet reception.

Season 2 of Discovery had a fairly strong start -- well, not in the actual premiere, which is not good, but in "New Eden." This is a great episodic story (very classic Trek) that also functions well as a segment of a serialized arc. If only that season had maintained this quality level!

I'm torn between Cardassians and The Maquis. I'll go with Cardassians because I love the scene where the O'Brien family is eating dinner, and Miles is unhappy that he's eating Cardassian food to make Rugal feel more at home. He pushes his plate away, and Rugal does the same.

Also any episode with Garak and Dukat can't be bad.
