Another good Kira story in season 5 is Ties of Blood and Water. I loved the flashes to her younger days. Kira and Ghemor certainly felt of each other like family, which was a nice bookend to the previous events in Second Skin.

A Simple Investigation is one of those ROTW episodes that works. It's funny that it involves Odo, who is usually besotted with Kira rather than someone else, so it's always a fascinating watch.

In the Flesh should have been the starting point for an 8472 arc, not its ending... but it was fun while it lasted. Fun to see Boothby "return", and a look at Starfleet Academy... and have Chakotay get something to do.
