"Strange Energies" for me this round. Mariner's Cardassian prison-break holodeck program, Ransom becoming a god, Tendi pursuing Rutherford with a medical venom rifle (and getting him to take his top off!

), Dr. T'Ana using a boulder to smoosh and cure Ransom, and Boimler screaming in terror at gluonic disruption aboard the Titan makes this ep a hit in my book.

This was the episode where the show really clicked and it was clear they could do what felt like standard Star Trek episodes with some comedy and heart rather than just comedy Trek, I think.

It is tonally off in some ways, but I do distinctly remember watching it for the first time and going: "oooohhhhh, so this show is ALSO going to be regular Star Trek stories, in addition to being a comedy..." They do a great job packing a ton into this episode and juxtaposing all the subplots.
