The Most Disliked Episode of LDS, Finals - 2025 Edition...

I do really like "Shades of Green" but I enjoy "Twovix" more - and that little fart sound that Swhale Swhalens makes (and the look on his face when he makes it) after he says "I want a fish!" never fails to crack me up!

"Shades Of Green" again from me, so that saves that.

For next round, I'll do "Twovix." I love everything about this episode! Bizarrely, despite featuring no Voyager characters, it's a more satisfying Voyager finale than "Endgame" was.

"Twovix" again for me, too. From Mariner's uncontained excitement at first seeing Voyager, to Ransom being a great commander (in his unorthodox way), and everything in between, there's nothing in this episode that I don't love. (And it has Ma'ah at the end! :klingon::luvlove:)

"Strange Energies" for me this round. Mariner's Cardassian prison-break holodeck program, Ransom becoming a god, Tendi pursuing Rutherford with a medical venom rifle (and getting him to take his top off!

), Dr. T'Ana using a boulder to smoosh and cure Ransom, and Boimler screaming in terror at gluonic disruption aboard the Titan makes this ep a hit in my book.

"Mining the Mind's Mines"

Somewhat unique reasoning here: I was a member of the t-shirt club, and this is my second favourite season three shirt (after "Pylons" from the DS9 episode). I'm wearing it now!

"Moist Vessel"

This was the episode where the show really clicked and it was clear they could do what felt like standard Star Trek episodes with some comedy and heart rather than just comedy Trek, I think.

I also really love all the creatures in "Saving The Mind's Mines", so I'll save that.

And start the next round with a vote for "Moist Vessel." It is tonally off in some ways, but I do distinctly remember watching it for the first time and going: "oooohhhhh, so this show is ALSO going to be regular Star Trek stories, in addition to being a comedy..." They do a great job packing a ton into this episode and juxtaposing all the subplots.

"Moist Vessel" is a really close second for me, but I'm going to stick with "Strange Energies" for the same reasons as before, and also:
"I hate pears again! They're so mealy and bland. *bleep* pears!"

Moist Vessel, the koala told me to save it.

Mugato Gumato for the philosophy of compromising in diplomath and the now canonical term tractor factor. One of the many gold nuggets Lower Decks added like holodeck cum filters.

"Strange Energies"

I can't add much to what's been said, but I did enjoy Ransom trying to eat the Cerritos.

My next vote is "Mugato, Gumato". Ecologically-friendly Ferengi.
