My vote is for "MERIDIAN". A couple good lines in the B story were funny, but the only real reason I am voting for "MERIDIAN" is because it introduced Jeffrey Combs to the franchise.

Well, this is certainly an appropriately offensive final two. I can’t think of any other DS9 eps remotely as offensive as either of these.

I’ll give my final point to “Profit & Lace.” I respect the level of ferocious acting commitment on display in this one. These poor actors are giving it their all. At least there’s some life to it.

“Cloak” is just so airless and draggy. And it ruins a running plot that had been really enjoyable till this point.

At least there were a couple of genuinely funny moments in this one, while "PROFIT AND LACE" was just bad all the way through, despite the cast doing their best to make the material better.

This is actually the first time since 2011 that this wins... 2019 and 2021 had "THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOAK" as the winner, with "LET HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN..." being the 2018 winner.

I didn't even make a vote but the last two are easily my worst two episodes during DS9's run, and either would have been a worthy victor.
