The Most Disliked Episode of DS9, 2023 Edition - Finals...

~ I'm usually pretty prepared with most things in life (thanks, anxiety), but for these games I fly by the seat of my pants! Or by whatever pops into my head, anyway :rommie:

Anyway, as entertaining - and annoying - as "Sanctuary" is, I'm reverting back to "THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOAK" (Sorry, hot Bajoran security guard from "Resurrection"). And for a reason that I haven't mentioned before (and something that's just wrong, wrong, wrong, but just so good): a kind and compassionate Brunt! :adore:

"PROFIT AND LACE" - 0
"RESURRECTION" - 0
"THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOAK" - 1

Well, I think it's because the Skreean faith had a prophecy that their people were destined to settle there, and... I don't know, I found it kind of boring on rewatch, so I watched the new Lower Decks instead.

And maybe Drailon 2 was just a really crappy planet. Extreme seasons, lots of deserts, close to Cardassian space, or even all of the above.

Draylon 2 was established as being a moderate planet and good for farming. It was never said to have any negatives.

Can't say about the Cardassian space part, though, as it was never stated where exactly it was located.

Still came off as very bratty, especially when they just got kicked out of their own homeworld.
 
Sanctuary is next. Whilst it's not the best episode, it has good parts in it, and the makeup of the Skreeans was different enough to remember.

I don't particularly care for any of these episodes, I will finish saving "Sanctuary". The concept is quite interesting, I guess. I'm not sure about the Skreeans, you do feel sorry for them, but they are kinda bratty like others had said.

Okay, only one episode left is boring, while the rest are bad.

Voting for "CHRYSALIS". It's rather dull, and really, Bashir... please STOP dating your patients. (It's my only complaint about him.)

I''m voting for Chrysalis. I think despite the somewhat creepy ROTW - Bashir dating a patient again, for example. was mostly a fan of the Jack Pack when they appeared, too.

The song they sang to bring Sarina out of her shell was nicely done,

~ I quite agree with both points :bolian: However, I find almost everything about this episode crushingly dull (although I think Faith Salie does a good job as Sarina) which, for me, is worse than the remaining bad ones where at least part of them have some entertainment value (dubious/suspect as it may be in some cases).
Anyway, I'm only saying this because I can't bring myself to 'like' any votes for "Chrysalis" - I'm not ignoring anyone who does :)
