I wanted to visit the Cinesphere but I think it was closed the whole time I was in Toronto.

My personal opinion is grounded by the fact that Doug Ford has a history with Toronto. None of it is good, none of it is respectful to Toronto's strengths.
Beau's has officially cancelled Oktoberfest. They say it's because of inflation but the sale to Steamwhistle went through last year so....
I also see people claiming they shut down the Vankleek Hill Brewery and all brewing is now in Toronto. I don't know the truth of that, but I do know they no longer offer tours of the Vankleek Hill location, just the taproom and gift shop.

I keep thinking that he's trying to punish Toronto for some refusal to be the property of his family.Which is ironic because I always feel Ford makes decisions first and foremost for Toronto more than any other city in the Province. It's always been Toronto this, Toronto that.
Shortly after the Bell layoffs we get the fantastic news for Canadian media that Postmedia and Nordstar are now merging.
think I'll be cancelling my torstar account.
and bell can go screw it's self Still making a fuckton off money and wants to cut a big chunk of it's news service and has asked the crtc for permission (and there's been been a common that what bell asks for, it gets - c.f rates for 3rd party providers).
And if that happens, barring an editorial miracle or five, I will likely end my digital subscription to the Star.Shortly after the Bell layoffs we get the fantastic news for Canadian media that Postmedia and Nordstar are now merging.
