Spoilers The Mandalorian season 2 discussion

It doesn't literally have to be parts from Annie's pod racer. Annie had to get those parts from somewhere to begin with. Most likely those parts were originally mass produced.

It could've just been the same model of engine, though that requires the yellow paint-job to be factory-standard and not Anakin's choice (which seems unlikely, since he recreated the yellow and silver livery from his podracer for his Jedi starfighters).

But, he was harvesting parts so the yellow could have been standard, and then he recreated it on his fighters based upon that standard.

Prefer the term livestock?

I would say beasts of burden would be more correct. Yes, I'm sure they are eaten by some, but so are horses and mules (by some people) and then there's the milk issue. But most of the time when you see a Bantha, it's being ridden.

Except Obi wan ordered it on Coruscant.

Drinks get around. Tatooine, despite being on the edge of the Republic at that time, has been a known system for thousands of years, and Jawas are not limited to just that planet. (also it seems to be made with fermented bantha hide or something...and bantha are common galactically.)

Remember that the "Blue Milk" is supposedly Bantha milk.

Well, as long as they are not juicing Jawas I think it will be OK.

Which was the whole joke I was attempting to make in the first place ;)

I'm skeptical, but I trust Dave Filoni (assuming he had as much input on him being back as Favreau).

When Maul was first teased to be alive in Clone Wars I hated the idea, like what the fuck Filoni? But then he became one of the best characters in the series.

if you look at them side by side the subtle details are not identical. The most obvious being the lack of rib along the top edge of the forward fins on the bike version. I think just same model engine is a safe bet.

Fun. Nice western but I want to see more star warsy action, and not just mando fighting bad guys.
Nice how he hung that alien mobster from the lamp

You're probably not going to get a lot of that, that's not what the show is about.

Also please define 'Star Warsy action'.
I liked the first season bec it established Mando, had intrigue, a long arc, and individual stories, This episode feels a lot like the swamp village they rescued from raiders, except the raider is a krayt dragon, and there is way too much sand.
So, it was - for me - a relatively weak opener aside from the introduction of Boba Fett; it could have been done anytime in S1.
