Spoilers The Mandalorian | Disney+ | Streaming Nov. 12

These things in Mandalorian could lift a grown adult human and fly off. Those mynocks from ESB were not that big.

Could be a variation from a the same species perhaps. Or maybe the mynocks we saw in ESB were younglings that are hatched/born/spawned in space and later make it down to planets.

Feels like I’m reaching, but I’ve read stranger life cycles in SW material.

Mynocks were the things that attacked the crew of the Millenium Falcon inside the asteroid in The Empire Strikes Back.

The things in the Mandalorian Episode 7 were NOT Mynocks.
Yeah, that's what I thought. Somebody made a bad assumption and put it in the episode summary. Can somebody edit that out? Wikipedia blocks me from editing since I'm on a VPN.

Wasn't there actually something like those creatures in one of the old Ewok tv movies? Possibly the same one the Blurrg originally showed up in? It's been a few decades so my memory is a little fuzzy, but if I'm right, if those things are a continuity pull from anything it'd be that. I mean, they already used the Blurrgs, so why not?

The Blurrgs were also in The Clone Wars, so I had assumed their use in The Mandalorian was more of a reference to TCW rather than the Ewok movie.

I've not watched the show yet, but intrigued by the good things I've seen. But, damn, I don't want to be on another subscription service.

Anyway the RLM guys watched it and liked it..

I like the smaller-scale quest/road movie feel of this show. I wish the Sequel Trilogy had felt more like this instead of cramming in tons of overwhelming epic action on a humongous scale.

They may have shot some takes where you actually can see The Child, and wisely decided to use the version where you can't see him instead.

I was wondering about that. "Sir, the good news is Disney+ is a financial success, the bad news is that the fans have burned down the studios."
