Does anybody have a count on how many times they reused that shot in DS9 and other places? Not to mention reusing the damn BOP explosion from the previous movie!
Boycott Disney I've heard about for twelve to fifteen years. This is not new.The people who were quick to cry "boycott Disney" now look even more foolish give.n that Kimmel's"indefinite" hiatus lasted all of 5 days, but that's what a knee-jerk reaction will do.
They were not fetuses but eggs. She needed her mate to fertilize them. Jumping in hyperspace would have rendered the eggs unable to be fertilized.Someone needs to stop Grogu from his excessive rudeness (which resulted in the deaths of several viable fetuses), not to mention stop Favreau from leaning on the exceedingly tired "ha ha, Grogu likes to eat" joke every thirty seconds.
Yes. Certainly Frank Oz got the credit he was due as Yoda.
"As himself." Hmm. When James Caan appeared in an episode of Get Smart, as the nefarious Rupert of Rathskeller, he chose a billing as "Rupert of Rathskeller As Himself," not wanting a TV credit to get in the way of feature film roles.
A joke going back to the Star Wars Holiday Special. When it comes to the Grogu as himself credit, I'm sure that's just a joke for the poster and the actual credits of the final movie will include everybody.
Would be nice to see instead of the stupid snake alien or whatever from Jabba's palace.Hoojib make an onscreen appearance.
Viable eggs that she fully intended to have fertilized. They were not fetuses but eggs. She needed her mate to fertilize them. Jumping in hyperspace would have rendered the eggs unable to be fertilized.
It's entirely new since the vast majority of those "boycott calls" were from right wingers who objected to Disney being nominally inclusive.Boycott Disney I've heard about for twelve to fifteen years. This is not new.
Still not a fetus.Viable eggs that she fully intended to have fertilized.
I don't see the difference beyond who is administering the boycott. I've been told to boycott stuff since college so it doesn't strike as me something terribly significant. It's entirely new since the vast majority of those "boycott calls" were from right wingers who objected to Disney being nominally inclusive.
They were also entirely ineffective and this one wasn't.
So, yeah, pretty "new."
You don't think hoojibs would look goofy in live action?Would be nice to see instead of the stupid snake alien or whatever from Jabba's palace.
The intent is the same and that's what matters.Still not a fetus.
I'm not saying Grogu was right, nor do I find handy episode especially enjoyable, between the stupid name of "Frog" and ice spiders. But, eggs are not the same as fetuses.
Sir this is a Mandalorian and Grogu movie threadSo you're cool with the authoritarians using governmental power to silence speech, then? Interesting take!
No goofier than what we got.You don't think hoojibs would look goofy in live action?
It's not a fetus regardless of intent. Words matter too.The intent is the same and that's what matters.
I'm done with that chat!Sir this is a Mandalorian and Grogu movie thread

Jaxxon or bust.
It got re-used once. In Generations.Does anybody have a count on how many times they reused that shot in DS9 and other places?
I swear I've seen that shot countless times to save money.
They did, and also made him a bit more unpleasant than classic Marvel Jaxxon. Haven’t seen him on screen yet, though.Didn't they already recanonize Jaxxon in the comics?
The exploding BoP from TUC was only reused in Generations, nowhere else.Does anybody have a count on how many times they reused that shot in DS9 and other places?

That one, I think was reused in Sacrifice of Angels, and then again in WYLB, given that battle has a lot of recycled shots from Sacrifice of Angels.I think some of the interior shots of Klingons being knocked around by explosions (including the one played backwards so it looked like he was being sucked out toward a hull breach) appeared in DS9.
