I'm on this train too, now that Time To Stand was axed. Changing Face is a good ep, it's just the last one I'd go to on this list if I wanted to rewatch a random great ep.

In Purgatory's Shadow, not bad but it's too similar to Improbable Cause and flying into the gamma quadrant in a runabout in the middle of the war is almost suicidal.

Damn, they're all so good, I feel like I should just flip a coin. I'll go with The Die Is Cast for this round, I think it has a few more minor flaws than the others. And, I suppose, one significant flaw: the Eddington thing where he sabotages them and then immediately renounces his own sabotage, which really doesn't work at all.

Duet is of course one of the greatest episodes of the series. I feel like the murder at the end was just a tad heavy handed.

Duet. It is perhaps more innovative than the other episodes on the list, but it is also very similar to them. They all put our characters in situations in which they must deal with the more morally problematic Cardassians. To that end, Duet suffers because it is by far the most polemical. It is talk. The others have other story elements, and the acting is more subtle and varied.
