Here we have the winners and runners-up of each season - and now, it's time for the final rounds.

Disengage gets my first vote. Being in season 3 is quite the cardinal sin but at least the Bounty finally shows the fleet museum.

I really do think Penance is my least favourite here, although it’s still good. I was so excited about S2 when The Star Gazer aired (if only I knew what was coming) and both of these S1 episodes are the best from that season. And obviously, not voting anything from S3 this early. That leaves Penance.

I don't think either season 2 episodes deserves to win the Finals, so I will for the lesser of the two... "Penance".

I said before that neither season 2 episode deserves to win, and I mean it.

My vote this round is for "The Star Gazer". By far, the best episode of that abysmal season, but... it promised such a great season, but we got shortchanged so incredibly badly.

It's not that episode's fault the rest of season 2 was so bad, but it will be the scapegoat for it in this Finals Round, unfortunately.

I've gotta go with one of these season one installments. Season one just cheated soooooooooo much on the storytelling.

I think it has to be "Remembrance." It's great, but there's nothing easier than writing a great beginning if you're not going to actually pay anything off.

This is hard. I will go with “The Star Gazer”. It’s an excellent episode, but I think it stands on its own slightly less than “Remembrance” does, and as Sakonna rather brilliantly just stated, it’s easier to write a great beginning.

I will vote for "Disengage". Season three was good but overrated, and I do not feel this was as good as several other season three episodes, much less as good as the season one episodes on this list.

I’m going after “Remembrance” next. I like the episode a lot, but there are scattered moments which I’m less keen on. My two favourite first-season chapters happened to reach the finals, so this is tough, but when I stack it up next to the other three remaining choices - which, if memory serves (ha), lacked so much as a minute’s worth of mediocre content imo, “Remembrance” gets the shove.
