The least disliked episode 2021 - DISCO Final Rounds

If Memory Serves, same reason as before.

If Memory Serves - 2
Unification III - 3
Terra Firma I - 3

And finally, I can get rid of Terra Firma I. It just really didn't need to be two parts, making rewatching a bit of a chore at times.

So, we move onto the final round. I really enjoyed the concept behind Unification III, seeing a follow-up to the TNG episodes, and even having a link with PIC. If Memory Serves is just one of my favourite episodes of DIS, so it just doesn't quite compare. Seeing the Taolsians again was so much fun, and Pike just kicked all kinds of ass in S2.

If Memory Serves - 0
Unification III - 1

"Unification III" again for my last point. "If Memory Serves" is a complete slam-dunk of an episode -- it may be the only Disco ep about which I have no significant complaints.

If Memory Serves - 0
Unification III - 2

I find myself truly torn.

Both are excellent episodes for different reasons. It's like trying to compare "THE VISITOR" and "IN THE PALE MOONLIGHT".

"Unification III" does so much to show the ideals of the Federation, and ultimately the franchise. My only issue is with the cop out of Burnham getting the information. So I must eliminate it only for that reason.

"If Memory Serves" was so much fun, I actually have to declare it the winner of DISCOVERY this year.

More like "If Meh-mory Serves," am I right?

Sorry, had to take a (terrible) potshot. We all have an episode or two that's nigh-universally beloved and doesn't do much for us by comparison. I totally understand, haha.

Honestly, it was a pretty terrific top six list heading into this. Cheers, "If Memory Serves."
