I agree with that post.
No, they brought him back because Disney lost faith in Colin Trevorrow’s ability to deliver.
Meaning, Trevorrow stood up to Kathleen Kennedy and was promptly handed his ass.
Pretty much agree here. He definitely could have been a bit nicer about it, but he does bring up some great points.I mean he’s right. He’s being a dick about it. But he’s absolutely right.
I think the problems come from the directors coming in and wanting to make their Star Wars movie, but then the Lucasfilm people want to them to make their Star Wars movie, and when the directors won't cooperate they have to go. I think a lot of these directors are probably just using to being able to just do whatever they want in their movies, but Lucasfilm is taking a more direct role in the production. So you get the people like JJ Abrams, and Rian Johnson, who are more willing to cooperate, and others like Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and Colin Trevorrow aren't.Meaning, Trevorrow stood up to Kathleen Kennedy and was promptly handed his ass.

yeah but that all should be handled in the vetting process.. before signing them and then announcing it to the world.. only to be followed by later changing them. This is entirely KK's doing as a terrible leaderPretty much agree here. He definitely could have been a bit nicer about it, but he does bring up some great points.

She's really not, if I had to guess, I'd say most of it probably is probably on the directors' shoulders, not hers. I think the problem is that things like Star Wars and the MCU are being run more like a TV show, with the producers like Kennedy for Star Wars, and Kevin Feige having a much more direct hand in things that you usually see in movies. Directors are used to having more control than they do here, so I could see where some of them could get frustrated at how tightly they are being controlled.yeah but that all should be handled in the vetting process.. before signing them and then announcing it to the world.. only to be followed by later changing them. Hiring Lord and Miller and then not liking how they did things the one thing that Lucasfilm under Kathleen Kennedy has done that kind of confused me. I would think they would have had to have know what their stuff was like when they hired them, so I don't understand why they hired them if they didn't want Solo done in their style. All I can think is either they promised something other than what they ended up doing, or there was some kind of miscommunication in the situation that lead to someone not knowing what was supposed to be happening until it was to late.
