I'd like to know, too; he has a couple lines. Can't recall exactly what he says now. But his character might have a name. There are a number of Romulans listed in the credits, but some of those were bound to be in the cut scenes; his remains in the movie. Hard to tell.

Ha, might there even be a script online that has the deleted scenes in it so I can finally read what exactly Ayel is saying in Romulan (did they just make up some nice sounding gibberish or did they use Diane Duane's Rihannsu? He's Matt Beisner, going by some of the pics on this website (none as a Romulan, unfortunately -- that would be too easy.) Memory Alpha has him only as Romulan crewman 1, with no picture.

Zach is tough to beat. Never would have thought I'd see the day when some new guy came along to play Spock as well as Nimoy and even be a tad hotter. Don't mind Chris and Karl in the least, tho...

I LOVE how Spock beat all the female characters (very tough to pull off, considering the gender breakdown around here). Kudos also to McCoy for tying with the green Orion sex bomb.

but I have to say that Nimoy's Spock was still sexier. In TOS, at least, not so much in the movies. (It's the voice! )

Quinto's voice is great (much better than Pine's weedy whine) but man oh man, Nimoy is frakkin unbeatable in that department.

However, I slightly prefer Quinto (mostly because the material that he was given was honestly more than anything Nimoy was ever given--with the exception of Spock's death)

The writers have sure given Quinto the path to eclipsing everyone else in this story by whalloping Vulcan and hooking Spock up with Uhura. I'm even worrying that Spock's emotional turmoil is going to dominate upcoming movies too much because it's such good material and Quinto will just knock it out of the park and the whole solar system while he's at it. I also want to see Kirk's story, not to mention something more from the other characters. Finding a balance is going to be a challenge for Abrams & co. They'll have to resist the natural temptation to just turn this all into Spock Trek.

I confess I have also developed quite the school girl crush on John Cho since Flash Forward started.

He's hotter on FF, isn't he? Maybe because the character has more conflict/a more interesting plotline or maybe I'm being influenced by how much Mark is obsessing over him lately.

I have to say as a male that I like Chirs Pine's Kirk, I am looking forward to more of Quinto as Spock, and that I too have a man crush on Karl Urban.

Shout out to Simon Pegg who is just funny and is to me an even better Scotty than the original Jimmy Doohan.
