Speaking as a straight guy I still think Karl Urban is the most handsome of the new crew. Kelley wins out over the original crew (although Nimoy is quite close).
I saw him in Shaun of the Dead and thought he was so cute. After I saw him in Hot Fuzz I developed a full-blown crush. My friends and family tease me about my "odd" taste in men. My other two crushes are James McAvoy and Paul McGillion (Stargate Atlantis).
I prefer Kelley over Urban, too, Nile. I don't dislike Urban, but he just isn't as... McCoyish to me.Which is odd, since I saw him as McCoy first...

LOL! I thought the same thing after I saw him in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. I love men with a great sense of humor. When I found out he would be cast as Scotty I was thrilled.

A ladies man you say? Why yes I do believe Shatner's Kirk did get around a little.
They did get that right with Pine's Kirk too. I love him trying to hit on a lady when he was brought into the sickbay. Classic!I'm quite pleased with Pine as Kirk. I didn't think I would be able to enjoy anyone else playing my favorite character but Pine did and admirable job.

Since I can't decide who I love the best of new Kirk & Spock and orginal Kirk & Spock, I choose all them! I know I'm only suposed to pick one but I cant, Im sorry. I just love Kirk & Spock, not matter if they are the orginals or the new, they are just the greatest and to mettion the hotest! I also have to admit I have a huge crush on them!

LOL! I was thinking the same thing. Nicolas Angel was such an uptight character. He really needed to lighten up a bit.
What is funny is that Simon played Scotty as the opposite of Nick Angel. Scotty is a wit who doesn't take himself too seriously. He is an engineering genius but acts a bit goofy. In TOS, people tended to underestimate him. Scotty was my favorite character along with Dr. Mcoy and Uhura. I see him as an eccentric genius.
