I remember around the time of the Guns n Roses cover reading that he wanted to do this but McCartney vetoed it because it “glorified meat-eating.”

I was looking through my book on science fiction films, trying to come up with a movie for the Great Sci-fi Movies thread, when I read the review for OHMSS and the author gave his thoughts on the three actors who had played Bond. (This book was published before Dalton took over the role.)
He said Connery was the "Schoolyard Bully", Lazenby the "Pretty Face", and Moore the "Suave, debonair, man about town".

I gotta say....Lazenby wasn't truly the pretty face.
Well, Lazenby was a model before being cast as Bond, so maybe that's what the author was referring to.
Oh I get it, but Roger was prettier.
