The James Bond Film Discussion Thread (With Bonus Lazenby!)

First movie, they're gonna give Daniel Craig a blank paycheck to bring him back for the multiverse movie with Pierce Brosnan, TImothy Dalton and George Lazenby where the villains from their movies join forces.
My money's on Sanchez being the only villain surviving into the sequel.

I can live with this

That would be fun, but I tend to take articles from the Mail with a truckload of salt.

The deal isn't even completed yet. In any case, no project is being developed yet.

Even within the article they say they approached Amazon who said there's nothing in development.

If it were true? Well I'm interested but more for Pugh than Moneypenny

Complete fantasy on my part but I would note that Quentin Tarantino does have one more movie left before he retires...
ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD has the feel of a fitting final film.....but he has yet to specify his last film, correct? In the interim he wrote a least one non-fiction book, plus a fantastic tie-in novel for HOLLYWOOD which brilliantly is complete 270-page outtakes from the movie.

After changing history twice in ten years time I hope he can find a way to knock our socks off again.

They also mention in the news that a new structure will be established. I don't understand what kind of structure this structure will be? Will it be a separate production company like Lucas Film or Marvel Studios?

IIRC, he wanted to make Casino Royale with Brosnan long before anyone envisioned a blond blue-eyed Bond.

A QT 007 film would be quite something but I think he’s said a few times that he doesn’t want to do franchises and he would want creative control. I suspect also that he’d want to make a period Bond. All of which is fine by me but would Amazon let him do a one-off, standalone cinematic Bond or would they rather get a nice handy series of films up and running? And QT has expressed his antipathy to streaming on multiple occasions, so while I keep saying that I’d love to see them do standalone “elseworld” or period Bond films online to complement big screen releases, I doubt very much that he would agree to it.

Still, great idea all the same.

This is an 'intellectual property' partnership, but they will appoint someone to be the head of the franchise.
