The one chance this has of turning out good is if Amazon lets creative directors and creative writers do their thing. Wilson and Broccoli had a very narrow vision, which changed every few years but it was still them behind the wheel. Yes they made GoldenEye and Casino Royale, but they also made Die Another Day and Quantum of Solace.

Of course, Amazon being Amazon, they'll hire Rawson Marshall Thurber as director and let him run wild with a $300 million budget.

Do Amazon movies feature a lot of Amazon product? I know watching Apple shows (which tend to get rave reviews) that there is a fair amount of Apple stuff. Not in Masters of the Air or Foundation, of course.
