(she makes her way out of the pond to rejoin Bareil, and they look at one another, sharing a brief moment in silence)

BAREIL: Perhaps you'd rather try your hand at woodcrafts.

KIRA: (smiles briefly) Can I tell you something very personal?

BAREIL: Of course.

KIRA: You won't tell?

BAREIL: I'm a vedek.

KIRA: I have absolutely no artistic skills. I was the worst finger painter at the four year old level. My parents were humiliated!
