With apologies to Ms Beyer... I find it easier to believe that Janeway never left, than acknowledge the pocketbook universe. I bought Ms Beyer's first post death novel, and since I know she's not "in it", I can't bring myself to read it.
For anyone else similarly affected... as Kimc says, there's always fan fiction.

If we do manage to get KJ back in Trek lit (where she belongs), then you can read the last "Voy" book (which wasn't too interesting w/out her in it), and then maybe the next one, too. Otherwise, I (& others) will not be buying any more Trek fiction (and I use to buy many of them). I don't acknowledge her "death" either, but still would prefer her officially alive in print (although KJ still lives otherwise, no matter what Pocket Books says, of course.) GS. PS Of course, fan fic is great, too, thank goodness it's there.
