The Goodies on BBC2!

Why did nobody mention 8 episodes were being shown late at night this week and next (albeit only the last two, on the 29th and 30th, are ones not on DVD, so the first six are all ones I've got)

Let's have more of this...

Great show. Reminds me of my childhood. My brothers eight year old has all the DVDs she can't get enough of it.

I wish they'd release season sets here. All I have is the 2 'best of' boxes put out by BBC here + the ITV series put out by Time/Warner (I think it was?).

There's supposed to be two non-DVD episodes (The Stone Age and Loch Ness Monster) next week, though so far the episodes run haven't always been those 'listed in Radio TImes'...

It was great to see some of these episodes again. A little disappointed that they replaced "Kung Fu Kapers" (possibly for health and safety reasons :guffaw:) with "Earthanasia" but I love both episodes anyway.

I remember on one Points of View that the BBC promised repeats of The Goodies this year - while I was hoping they'd put them on at a better time slot (and on iPlayer :() I'm still glad to see the boys on TV again.

Well, just as I wrote this BBC DVD released a third 'best of' dvd box, "...at Last... Back for More, Again" featuring the following episodes:

Cecily
The Music Lovers
The New Office
Goodies Rule - Ok?
Camelot
It Might as Well be String
2001 & a bit
Royal Command

So far, I've watched Cecily... great memories.

Goodies Rule - Ok?

There are few things as good as Goodies Rule OK?
Apart from Kitten Kong, Doctor Who, Earthanasia, Fawlty Towers...

Graeme Garden has been playing the Meddling Monk in the Eighth Doctor Adventures on Audio recently.

Such Smarm.

that was the name of the show I was trying to remember when I saw Bill Oddie on the MWC episode when the Bundy's went to England.
