As hilarious as it'd be for Marinakis to sack another manager after a handful of games, he'll surely give Glasner more time....

Or will he?

At the rate Forest dispense with managers these days you'll probably end up back with Cooper sooner or later.

Not that Derby can really crow, 2nd bottom with one win in 12!

Thought we might get the 2nd win yesterday, decent performance until Sanderson got himself sent off. Typical for Bamford to score.

Man Utd. drama-rama time again.😉
When was the last time United were relevant?

Players who won’t play so sack the manager.Rinse and repeat.
Though the Hammers seem to be inching towards a heave against Nuno too.Madness.

The problems at Utd go deeper than the manager or players. It's the Glazers, INEOS, Jim Ratcliffe, Jason Wilcox et al.

In fact for all that they're soulless parasites you could make an argument that the club were slightly more stable when it was just the Glazers.

As a United supporter I'm so completely over the parasites (whose only interest in the club is how much money they can grub out of it), Ratcliffe (a racist arsehole who shouldn't be let near any sporting endeavour), the ongoing parade of utterly stupid decisions made by all of them, and the absolutely ridiculous sense of entitlement the club still labours under.

Until the club has proper owners and makes a break with the past, this will continue. ABU types will absolutely love it but as someone who's supported United for as long as I've been aware what football is (and since a time when the club was decidedly mediocre), it's pretty dismal to see yet another manager potentially chucked under the bus when the real issues continue to go unaddressed. Some of the players desperately need to get the hell over themselves or fuck off, too (or perhaps both).

On another note entirely, gotta love that football can produce a result like Fleetwood beating the PL champs. Brilliant.

If the Glazers had never bought Man Utd, which the catalyst was Fergie falling out with a major shareholder over a fucking horse btw then Man Utd would be a powerhouse still. The club's finances were immense until a levereged buy out dumped half a billion £ of debt onto the books.

How such deals are even legal is bizzare.

Man Utd can NEVER pay off that debt and when football's bubble finally burst I fully expect it to go bankrupt. Nothing is too big to fail and football is a ticking time bomb.

Leveraged buyouts were legal. I don't think they are anymore, thank fuck!

It really does beggar belief that you can put a company in debt in order to get the money to buy that company! If that isn't capitalism's nadir it must be pretty darn close to it.

That being said...Utd have still spent ridiculous amounts of money since the Glazers bought the club. There's no reason they couldn't still be competitive, maybe not May City levels of spending, but hey we know how that happened!
