Good to see Villa win, could it be a clean sweep for English teams?

The England World Cup squad is leaking and that list is just digusting. Picking Tuchel to manage England was always going to be a disaster IMO and this is where it really begins to go down hill. We will be lucky to go any further than the Round of 16.

I can see why Tuchel has made some decisions, the likes of Foden and Palmer have had awful seasons, Toney is a good deputy for Kane and has been used to playing in hot weather.

But if form over name counts why is Gibbs-White out? And why take Stones but not Maguire?

Guess we'll know soon enough if some of these decisions turn out to be gutsy or stupid.

A lot of leaks. Hopefully those players who have missed out knew before they leaked.

Struggling to get excited for this one. Hopefully will do nearer time, especially as in Greece for knockout rounds and you cant beat a bit of WC football when on hols.

Hull win the playoff final! I've gone from not caring who went up to being really pleased. Sure Steve Gibson will still try and sue someone for something

No offense to Boro but I think the team that deserved it most went through. Good for Hull.

The whole thing with Southampton and the spying nonsense - with some bloke actually lurking in the bushes, for God's sake - is absolutely absurd. It would be funny if it wasn't so completely pathetic. Pleased they were kicked out and good for Hull.

Stoked with third for United and really hope Carrick will be properly backed by Ineos / Ratcliffe. Jury's well and truly out on the latter as far as I'm concerned (to put it as politely as I possibly can), but Carrick deserves an opportunity if only for displaying some actual common sense. After all, who knew playing people in positions they're actually suited to actually works?? (Not Amorim, anyway.)

Very ambivalent about the World Cup. I know very well I'm going to watch it but I wish it was being held almost anywhere else. Such is life, I suppose.

I don't really know anyone who's remotely excited for the WC.

So in the end Spurs stayed up and West Ham go down. Chuffed for Bournemouth Sunderland and Brighton all making Europe.
