The future of True Blood

How long do you think it's going to last? Will Bill and Sookie be the kind of a couple who have their share of hardships down the road but are destined to be together till the very end no matter what? Or are they in for a big breakup which there is no turning back? Do you see any shakeups in the status quo happening in the show's future like an all-out war between vampires and humans? How do you see the Sookie character or the other characters in the show developing over the course of the show?

Well, there have been nine books already so the tv show still has plenty of ground to cover . . . .

The problem I have with this series, is that the US Government would not just let a small population of super-powered freaks just kind of walk around with the power to do whatever the hell they want. I know it would deviate from the books, but I wouldn't mind if they brought in a Vampire police force at some point. Maybe made from Vampire Hunters.

In the books, the police have vampire units. There are even some vampires on the force.
