One of my friends lives in an odorless world. He was napping in a car's passenger seat on a business trip and his coworker started napping in the driver's seat - on the highway at 80 mph. One bridge abutment later, he had 70 titanium screws in his face and no sense of smell.![]()
What about taste? Can he still do that? I always thought that when your sense of smell dies, so does taste. (That's what happens when you get a cold, anyway.)
