Spoilers The Flash - Season 4

I am pretty sure that she is Iris and Barry's future daughter or maybe future granddaughter.

Ooh, neat thought: What if all of these teases are setting up a 5th-season arc involving travel to the future? Maybe even bringing things full circle by bringing the Flash into contact with the young Eobard Thawne and inadvertently setting him on the course to becoming the Reverse Flash?

I was expecting something more like global mind control, the Thinker taking over everyone's minds and "educating" them to think the way he wanted.
Yeah, mind control would have been better. Earlier in the season, I actually thought that DeVoe wanted to make everyone smarter, hence why he called his plan the "enlightenment". That name seems like a complete oxymoron now considering that his plan is to make everyone dumber, the exact opposite of what an enlightenment is.
I still kind of think that DeVoe's ultimate goal is to reeducate the world to his way of thinking. Remember that Gideon told Harry that he'd have to relearn everything. I have a feeling DeVoe's current plan to reset the human race's intelligence is so he can have a clean slate to reeducate them.

(I accept that Just because something happened in the comics, it doesn't mean that it is going to happen in the Arrowverse.)

Barry has twins in the future: Dawn and Don. The Tornado Twins.

Don Allen and Meloni THAWN beget Impulse (Bart Allen.)

Dawn Allen and "someone" beget Jenni Ognats (Xs).

XS is a Legionaire and a woman of colour.

Obviously any daughter TV Barry has with TV Iris is going to be a woman of colour, but there was a great big melting pot. Big enough enough enough to take. The world and all it's got. And keep it stirring for. A hundred years or more. And turn out coffee coloured people by the score...

Barry and Iris in the comics Time Jump, to retire in the 30th century after his comic was cancelled in the 80s but before they killed the Flash off in Crisis, so the Allen/West DNA didn't get to spend a hundred years in a melting pot.

Murtaugh Syndrome.

I noticed how "Dawn"'s speed lighting awfully looks lot like Iris' when she had Barry's powers...
She actually has a combination of both Barry's and Iris's speed lightning.

Plausible. Wipe away the "wrong" thinking to clear the way for the "right" thinking. Still, how does he envision a world without technology developing? And what does he define as "no technology"? Clothes are technology. Agriculture is technology. Writing is technology. Fire is technology. Does he intend us to live as wild animals with a subsistence-level population, not even able to use stone axes or spears, dying in infancy in huge numbers and having no defense against predators? For a super-thinker, he doesn't seem to have thought things through (or rather, the writers don't).

Nice. I'm picturing a "Baby's Day Out" spoof of an episode, with Baby Dawn evading by speed-crawling, and phasing through the playpen, and goes into mini-adventures around the city, or even get into something with Uncle Ollie in Star City.

Well yes, that is clearly what DeVoe hopes to do. The whole point of wiping everyone's intelligence rather than just destroying technology is because DeVoe believes that it is not just technology that is the problem but that people's thinking has been corrupted by it as well. I think he explicitly states this at one point in the episode.

That would be hilarious.

And she crawls into a construction site and gets lifted up to the high girders, and Flash and Vibe keep having slapstick accidents while she blithely and casually avoids one danger after another...

Great idea. A youtube video also pointed out that the number on the apartment door when Dawn knocks was the number "5". Maybe an ester egg tease for season 5?

Was there a different number before? It wouldn't be the first time they changed the apartment number for the same apartment set on a tv show

Katee Sackoff making a CSI reference is rather meta since she used to be on that show.
I’m also curious about Earth-38 Wells. I know Barry said there wasn’t one but he could have another name.
Nice to see Iris back in journaling. I hope she goes back to that full time soon since I’m not a fan of her being on team flash as the computer girl.
Flash really doesn’t need a team.

Shouldn't they be collecting all the other DeVoe's across the multiverse? A few of them might also be on the eve of their moment of triumph too.

Considering how vast the multiverse is, there has to be a "good" DeVoe out there that would help Team Flash.

Katee seems to have a lot of fun in her role. Though seems very odd that all she did was leave a "bomb"...i thought that her actually using the power made her a needed part of the team to take him down.

Also funny to see her use her "real" accent. i wonder if she learned her British accent with her BSG co-stars

My understanding is that it is not really a bomb, just a projectile that would destroy the satellite by sheer kinetic energy. But it does raise a couple questions. You are right. I thought they needed her to "throw" the projectile in orbit to hit the satellite. Obviously, Team Flash will need to find another way. Also, there are 5 satellites so how would a single projectile destroy all of them. And if you only destroy one, it would still leave 4 satellites that could wreck havoc on the rest of the population.

I had a thought on the finale:
The finale will be titled "We are the Flash". I saw some speculation on Jawiin's youtube channel that they could have the entire population of Central City stand up to DeVoe and say in unison "we are the flash". I sure hope they don't do that. That would be so cheesy if that is how they defeat the Thinker. It reminds me of the Doctor Who episode "last of the Time Lords" where the entire population of Earth call on the Doctor and it rejuvenates him back to his younger self. Although maybe there is a scene where the city's population says "we are the flash" as a show of support but it is not how they ultimately defeat the Thinker. Still cheesy though.

I gather that it's not one projectile, but a cluster of them. She mentioned pulling one out of the mass and firing it, which I imagine they could do with Flash speed.

Although it's kind of contradictory -- if Amunet needed her "big jobs stash" to destroy the satellites, why can they do it with just a small clump of them? Well, maybe she was lying about that to trick Team Flash into helping her steal back her stash.

"We're the Flash" is a recurring phrase that Iris and Barry have been using for a while now in reference to how they're an inseparable team. So the title presumably applies to their partnership, not to the whole city.
